IFF Village level Awareness Meeting
SOND நிறுவனம் செயல்படுத்தும் IFF (Inclusive Future Fund) திட்டத்தின் கீழ் J/84 நாவந்துறை தெற்கு பகுதியில் 2025 ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜூலை 22ஆம் தேதி கிராம மட்ட விழிப்புணர்வு கூட்டம் நடத்தப்பட்டது.
இந்த நிகழ்வில் அரசாங்க அதிகாரிகள், சமூக அமைப்புகளின் பிரதிநிதிகள் மற்றும் பொதுமக்கள் கலந்துகொண்டனர். சட்ட உரிமைகள், பாலின அடிப்படையிலான வன்முறை (GBV) தடுப்பு, போதைப்பழக்கம் ஒழிப்பு மற்றும் நீதிக்கான அணுகல் உள்ளிட்ட முக்கிய விஷயங்கள் விவாதிக்கப்பட்டன.
இக்கூட்டம், பாதுகாப்பான மற்றும் விழிப்புணர்வான சமூகத்தை உருவாக்கும் நோக்கில் சமூக ஈடுபாட்டை ஊக்குவிக்கும் முக்கிய முயற்சியாக அமைந்தது.
SOND ආයතනය ක්රියාත්මක කරන IFF (Inclusive Future Fund) ව්යාපෘතිය යටතේ 2025 ජූලි 22 වන දින නාවන්තුරෙයි දකුණ (J/84) ප්රදේශයේ ගම්මාන මට්ටමේ අවබෝධතා වැඩසටහනක් පැවැත්විණි.
මෙම අවස්ථාවට රජයේ නිලධාරීන්, සමාජ සංවිධාන නියෝජිතයින් සහ ප්රජා සාමාජිකයින් සහභාගී විය. සාකච්ඡා වුණු ප්රධාන මාතෘකා වූයේ නීතිමය අයිතීන්, ලිංගික පදනම්ව ඇතිවන හිංසාව වැළැක්වීම, මත්පැන් හා මත්ද්රව්ය භාවිතය වැළැක්වීම, සහ යුක්තියට ප්රවේශය යන කරුණුයි.
මෙම වැඩසටහන ආරක්ෂිත සහ අවබෝධ සමාජයක් ගොඩනඟා ගැනීමට ප්රජා සම්බන්ධතාවය උත්සහා දක්වන වැදගත් ව්යාපෘතියක් විය.
Under the IFF (Inclusive Future Fund) project implemented by the SOND organization, a village-level awareness meeting was held on July 22, 2025, in Navanthurai South (J/84).
Government officials, representatives of social organizations, and community members participated in the session. Key discussions included legal rights, prevention of gender-based violence (GBV), drug abuse prevention, and access to justice.
The event served as a key initiative to promote community engagement and build a safer and more informed society.

#InclusiveFuturesFund திட்டம் #PathwaystoPeace அமைப்பினால் நிர்வகிக்கப்படுகிறது. இது கனடா அரசாங்கத்தால் நிதியுதவி செய்யப்பட்டு Alinea International மூலம் செயல்படுத்தப்படுகிறது.

17.06.2025 யாழ்ப்பாணத்தில் உள்ள எங்கள் SOND அலுவலகத்திற்கு, இலங்கைக்கான கனடா தூதரகத்திலிருந்து அபிவிருத்தி ஒத்துழைப்பு பிரிவின் தலைமை அதிகாரி திருமதி லிண்டா எரிச்சும், அபிவிருத்தி அலுவலர் திரு விபுல தஹநாயக்கவும் வருகை தந்தனர்.
கனடா நிதியுதவி பெற்ற “Pathways to Peace Project” உள்ளிட்ட திட்டங்களில் ஈடுபடும் கூட்டாளர்களை சந்திப்பதற்கான வட மாகாண பயணத்தின் ஒரு பகுதியாக இக் கலந்துரையாடல் நடைபெற்றது.
We were honoured to welcome Ms. Linda Ehrichs, Counsellor and Head of Development Cooperation, and Mr. Wipula Dahanayake, Development Officer, from the High Commission of Canada in Sri Lanka to our SOND office in Jaffna today (June 17, 2025).
This visit was part of their field mission to the Northern Province, engaging with partners of Canadian-supported initiatives including the “Pathways to Peace Project”.
A fruitful discussion took place on our current efforts, future plans, and the shared commitment to inclusive development and social cohesion.
